Emergency Preparedness

Curry Community Health plays a role in emergency preparedness, coordinating with state, local, and regional partners to ensure population health during a national disaster.

The Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program is required by law for all health departments responsible for numerous roles in the aftermath of a disaster including mass immunizations, investigating unsanitary conditions, public information and education, disease and illness surveillance, and providing support to health care providers and emergency responders.
