The Supported Employment Coordinator provides employment-related support to clients who have mental illness which negatively impacts their ability to work. The goal is to help the individuals find and maintain competitive employment in the community. Services may include job analysis, job matching, résumé preparation, and developing interview skills.
The Peer Support Specialist provides a variety of recovery-oriented services in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery from mental illness. Services provided by the Peer Support Specialist includes a wide range of supports, services, and advocacy that contributes to a client’s ability to engage in ongoing treatment. The Peer Support Specialist will assist in the development of peer led drop in programming. Services provided will be consistent with the Recovery and Strengths-Based models and will be based in a therapeutic relationship.
The Case Manager will assist in treating individuals with mental, emotional or substance abuse problems. Services provided will be consistent with the Recovery and Strengths-Based models and will be based in a therapeutic relationship. Activities include case management, skills training, client advocacy, prevention and education both 1:1 and in groups.
The Crisis Coordinator works as an integral part of the team which supplies 24-hour, 7 days per week, crisis resolution and prevention to individuals who have gone through traumatic and life-altering events such as mental and emotional health issues, loss of loved ones, sexual assault, domestic violence and suicidal or homicidal thoughts or intent. The Crisis Coordinator provides direct intervention for individuals presenting with emergent needs.
The Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) works to provide environmental health services to include inspections in Curry County at various locations. The EHS provides inspection services for food establishments, swimming pools, lodging to include RV Parks. The EHS is also responsible for drinking water system reviews and compliance, epidemiological outbreaks as identified by the Public Health Administrator, health hazards, and food handler’s courses.
