Curry Community Health is looking to hire a Peer Support Specialist (Part Time – 20 hours per week) to work in Curry County, Oregon, located in a beautiful retirement community on the Southern Oregon Coast. This is a part time position offering holiday pay, paid time off as well as life insurance and 403b. The Peer Support Specialist provides a variety of recovery-oriented services in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery from mental illness. Services provided by the Peer Support Specialist includes a wide range of supports, services, and advocacy that contributes to a client’s ability to engage in ongoing treatment. The Peer Support Specialist will assist in the development of peer led drop in programming. Services provided will be consistent with the Recovery and Strengths-Based models and will be based in a therapeutic relationship.
Curry Community Health is looking to hire an Accounts Payable & Payroll Coordinator. This is a full time position offering health benefits (medical, dental, vision), holiday pay, paid time off, life insurance and a 403b plan. The Accounts Payable & Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing and reconciling accounts payable; printing checks; collecting timesheets and preparing bi-monthly payroll for approximately 65 people; performing complex duties associated with the reconciliation of fiscal, financial and statistical records. This individual must demonstrate initiative and the ability to make independent decisions.
This position is responsible for providing primary health care to school aged children at the School Based Health Center located in the Brookings-Harbor School District. This position will provide direct patient care within the scope of credentials and privileges granted within a PCPCH model and manage health problems through assessment, treatment, counseling and education of students. Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, Board Certified, possess an active FNP license and have 1-3 years or more of experience and/or the ability to work independently.
